The Naperville Public Library was recently awarded a
$77,848 Smart Investing @ your library® grant from
the FINRA Investor Education Foundation and the
American Library Association. The purpose of this
project is to provide the community with effective,
unbiased investing information and resources.
The Library is currently seeking participants for a pilot study.
They will contribute to the success of this project by providing input on the following:
- General questions about investment knowledge and interests
- How they use the library for financial information
- What they would like to learn about investing
- Opinions on investor resources and databases
Benefits of participating in the study include:
- Opportunity to take part in an important financial education
project
- Input on future financial programming topics and events
- Instruction in library investor resources
- Previews of new investing tools and database features
Contact Information and Confidentiality
Study participants are asked to provide contact information, so
that the Library can communicate with them throughout the course
of the study. However, all information submitted is confidential
and questionnaires will be anonymous. No names or contact
information will be disclosed to any brokers, dealers, or
financial institutions. Information provided to the Library will
be used strictly for educational purposes in improving investor
education and financial literacy.
