Online Databases/Library Catalog - Access problems

Clear your cached files

Internet Explorer 6:

In Internet Explorer, go to Tools > Internet Options
On the General tab, in the Temporary Internet Files section, click the Delete Files button
Check the Delete all offline content checkbox
Click OK

Internet Explorer 7:

In Internet Explorer, Click Tools > Internet Options
Go to Browsing History > click on Delete
Under Temporary Internet Files click Delete Files and under Cookies click on Delete Cookies
Click Yes
Click Close

Mozilla Firefox:

Tools > Clear Private Data
Put a check mark for Browsing History; Cache; Cookies; Authenticated Sessions
Clear Private Data Now

Are you being prompted for user name and password after entering your valid library card number and pin number?

Check your personal firewall settings.

If you have Norton Internet Security follow the steps below?

Right-click on your Norton Internet Security Icon in the system tray and select Norton Internet Security or double click on the desktop icon.
Click on the Privacy Control row and then click on the gold Configure button on the right.
Click on the Advanced button.

Click on the add site button and add the URL. Click the OK Button.

On the Global Settings tab on the right-hand side, find “Information about visited sites” and UNCHECK the “Use default settings” entry. Click the Permit radio button.
Click OK, then OK again, and you will not experience anymore issues.
