Computer Classes
Brush up on your computer skills. Is there a program you “sort of know” but were never formally trained on? Would learning about Microsoft Office help make you more marketable in your job field?
Every user has at least one program they want to learn and the Naperville Public Library is pleased to offer a variety of computer classes to help you do just that.
Classes offered in the Winter/Spring 2012 include:
• Introduction to Microsoft Word 2010
• Intermediate Microsoft Word 2010
• Introduction to Microsoft Excel 2010
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel 2010
• Introduction to Microsoft PowerPoint 2010
• Creating Promotional Flyers with Microsoft Word 2010

Is there a registration fee or how much do classes cost?
There is a $10 attendance fee for each class that must be paid at the time of registration to hold your spot in the class. This $10 fee is non-refundable and non-transferable to another class or another person.
Are the classes only for Naperville patrons and do I need a library card?
Yes, classes are open only to Naperville patrons and you do need the Naperville library card for registration.
Where are the classes offered?
Classes are held at the Nichols and 95th Street Libraries. Check the schedule for more information on locations and times.

How do I sign up?
Computer class registration must be done in person at the Computer Lab of any our library location. Please have your Naperville Public Library card with you to register.
When should I register?
As soon as possible, classes fill up quickly.
If I am registered and cannot make it to the class should I call to cancel?
If you cannot attend the class for any reason, please let the Computer Lab staff know so that we can offer the spot to someone on our waiting list.
If a class is full, can I attend on the chance that a patron has not showed?
Absolutely. Many times people sign up but do not attend. Most likely you will be able to participate in the class.
Is this a series of classes?
No, each class is a standing alone class and not part of any series.
