The book contrasts the fantasy of Western music and movies and the violence and chaos of Lagos's ghetto. |

Summary: Buckley's novel chronicles the fictional relationship between Elvis, then stationed in Germany, and Orson, a 15 year old German boy and his friend Priscilla, Elvis's future wife.
